So I was on the train when I got the familiar craving: Burrito. In between bouts of regret for not thinking of this before hopping on the train, I started to plan out my next steps. Ultimately, out of curiosity and convenience, I decided to give Yola's Cafe a try.

Because this place was new to me, I checked the Yelp application on my phone - Yola's was ranked with 3 bars and had pretty okay reviews including "Good food for a hole in the wall." Price = $. SOLD.
The menu was decent - the average burrito costs $8.50, while fish & shrimp burritos cost $9.50. A burrito includes: Meat, Refried Beans, Rice, Cheese, Sour Cream & Guacamole.
Now since I am not a big fan of SC&G on my burrito, I simply asked if I could replace the two with lettuce & salsa. The clueless girl at the register understood my request, but then charged me about $1.50 extra for the new additions. It went something like this:
"Wait.. you're charging me extra for lettuce & salsa?"
"But I didn't want sour cream and guacamole"
"Usually those are more expensive than lettuce..."
"So do you want the lettuce or not?"
"Yea, whatever I'll take it"
$10.00 later.. I am pissed. But it's okay.. this burrito is at least prepared the way I like it, so that's a plus. Not at all. Overall the burrito was mediocre at best. Complaints:
- Salsa: A small side, not included on the burrito
- Chicken: Hard and dry
- Tortilla: Not as soft and fluffy as it should have been - kind of hard at the edges
- Rice: Just ok. Not special or spectacular
